Principal Kathy Hicks has directed All Saints School since 1990. Previously, she taught math at Gonzaga Prep and Fairmont Jr. High in Boise. Her credentials include a bachelor's of arts in math and biology, a fifth year in education and a master's degree in administration and curriculum. Kathy enjoys working with All Saints students and the dedicated and committed parents, staff and pastors. "I feel so blessed to be part of this wonderful faith community," says Mrs. Hicks. She received the Distinguished Principal of the Year Award for the Northwest Region from the National Catholic Education Association in 2001.

Amy Kelly teaches one of our three-year-old preschool classes. She earned her bachelor's degree from Eastern Washington University in elementary education and majored in reading with a minor in early childhood education. "It is such a great feeling to be able to teach in a school and share your faith," said Amy. "I look forward to teaching the preschoolers about God and how Jesus taught us to live."

Colleen Niedermeyer has become a familiar sight at All Saints not just as a parent, but also as the coordinator of our Kids' Care Retreats -- a yearly retreat program for our Kindergarten through third grade students. Colleen has now stepped into the role of preschool teacher in one of our four/five-year-old classes. Colleen attended Catholic schools all of her life and worked in the Mercy Corps. "I credit my Catholic education in aiding me to make the decision to work with the homeless," said Colleen. "It gave me the strength while I was there to be accepting, patient and philanthropic."

Rhonda Schmidlkofer is a very familiar face to parents at All Saints. Rhonda helped transform the office space at the middle building into our preschool in 2001. Now, she is back as one of our teachers for the four/five-year-old classes. "I love the small, tight-knit community here at All Saints," said Rhonda. "I hope I can plant in these littlest students a love of school, an excitement for learning and a beginning foundation for their walk with God."

Kathleen Olney teaches some of our youngest students in our preschool. She teaches four and five-year-old students five days a week and she feels she has learned a great deal from her students. "They are so loving and you get so much from them," said Mrs. Olney. "They know about Jesus and their answers are honest and real. It's just wonderful to be around them." Even in preschool, students begin and end their day with prayer.

Debbie Lampert joined the All Saints faculty in 1996. She received a BS in education from the University of Great Falls in Montana. Debbie became a Catholic school teacher because it allows her to celebrate God's presence every day in every area of learning. She hopes that "each child takes with him/her a deeper awareness of the love of Jesus and an excitement for learning." Debbie teaches Kindergarten and is the Vice Principal of the primary building.

Amy Koreski works side-by-side with Mrs. Lampert. In the afternoon, she teaches social studies, science and art to one of our Kindergarten classes. Amy attended Gonzaga University and graduated with a degree in religious studies and elementary education. She says she enjoys the community of All Saints and is happy to be a Catholic school teacher. She shared that "I believe there is no more important lesson than learning that you are a gift from God and have an important calling in life."

Ashley Thielman came to Spokane from the west side of the state where she taught pre-kindergarten and was an instructional aide for Kindergarten through fourth grade in Bellevue, Washington at St. Madeleine Sophie. She holds a bachelor’s of arts in sociology from the University of Washington and a master’s degree in teaching from City University.

Anne Marie Vogel received a BA in English from GU and has completed a Master of Arts in Teaching. She joined All Saints faculty in 1992. Anne Marie chose to teach at a Catholic school because it allows her to share the truths of her faith without reservation. "Teaching at All Saints allows me to experience the joy of watching children learn to be part of the Kingdom of God."

Mary Feezell graduated from EWU with a BA in Elementary Art Education. She has taught first grade at All Saints since 1990. Mary hopes her students continue through life with the ability to think independently and work cooperatively with others.

Linda Eber is one of two second-grade teachers at All Saints. Linda has taught for 25 years in the Diocese of Spokane including St. Patrickís and St. Aloysius. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Music and has taken post-graduate classes from Whitworth College and Gonzaga University as well as many educational workshops. ìI love to teach. I chose to become a Catholic School teacher so that I could teach our faith, not just as a subject, but interwoven throughout the curriculum.î

Jeanie Spiering is a former Kindergarten teacher here at All Saints and became one of our second grade teachers in 2006. Janna Michaud taught both three-year-old and four-year-old students at our preschool before she began as one of our third grade teachers. She graduated from Gonzaga University with a degree in special education and an endorsement in elementary education. Janna feels that her faith is very important and that teaching is her passion. "To be able to live out my faith and my passion at the same setting is the best of both worlds."

Ashley Nelson is a third grade teacher here at All Saints. She received her bachelor's of arts degree in elementary education at the University of Arizona and taught second grade in Tucson before moving to Spokane. Elizabeth Chevrier has taught fourth grade at All Saints since 1990. She graduated with a degree in education from EWU. Elizabeth hopes her students continue on to fifth grade not only with more knowledge of the subjects taught, but also with a sense of curiosity about everything in life.
She says she simply wanted to teach and that it was a series of events that led her to All Saints. "I have been blessed."

Sarah Arte is a local who was teaching at St. Paschal School before it closed. She has an undergraduate degree from Eastern Washington University in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masterís degree from Whitworth in M.I.T., with an emphasis in English, Social Studies and history. ìI have the chance to teach all subjects and the added element of faith truly makes All Saints a community. It is a special experience.î

Sean Bailey joined All Saints in 1999. He received his Masters Degree in Computer Education from GU in May 1999. Teaching at All Saints gives Sean the opportunity to teach the "whole" student and focus on what is most important -- Christ and his church. Fifth grade teacher,
Jill Gotzian joined the faculty of All Saints in 1987. She graduated with a degree in early childhood education from Washington State University, completed her fifth year at EWU, and attained a Masters in Administration, Curriculum and Teaching at GU in 1996.
Jill enjoys teaching at All Saints because she is able to include the gospel in all areas of teaching. She wants her students to learn that "Jesus is always there for us, all we need to do is pray and listen."

Sixth grade teacher,
Gina Behrens returned to Spokane from Seattle where she taught in the archdiocese. Before that, she worked at St. Paschal's in the Spokane Valley. She holds a BA from EWU and a Masters in Computer Education for GU.
"I want to give my students the skills to become knowledgeable, positive and caring members of society. Most importantly, I want them to feel confident and prepared for their future."

Julie Travis has taught for the Diocese of Spokane and Spokane School District 81 since 1978. She received her BA and fifth year from Whitworth University. In 1987 she joined the faculty at All Saints to teach sixth grade. Julie strives to instill a positive attitude toward learning in her students that will last a lifetime. "God has made each student wonderfully unique and it is my calling to encourage them to use their gifts to the fullest."

Seventh grade teacher
Mike Coyle joined All Saints in 1983. He received his BA from GU and earned his teaching certificate at EWU. Mike enjoys teaching at a Catholic school because it allows him the freedom to incorporate religious values into his lessons. Mr. Coyle teaches seventh grade spelling, religion and pre-algebra. He also teaches eighth grade U.S. History.

Rebecca Doumit taught in our third grade before taking a position as one of our seventh grade teachers. She is currently earning her master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Washington State University. She worked in both public and parochial schools on the west side of the state before coming to All Saints. "I became a Catholic school teacher so I could share my faith with my students and watch them grow in their own." Rebecca teaches seventh grade Language Arts. This includes reading literature and writing compositions, as well as students keeping a writing journal of their work.

At our middle building, science is
Marty Ahmann's specialty. He received his bachelor's degree in education with a major in natural science from Eastern Washington University. Currently, he teaches seventh and eighth grade science along with Intro to Pre-algebra and seventh grade religion. Marty feels his job as an educator stretches beyond just teaching what is in a textbook. He stated "God gave us an amazing place to explore and I want my students to appreciate it."

Nick Senger acquired a MA in teaching at GU. He joined All Saints in 1991. Nick says it is his job to present the students with a variety of ways for them to learn. In 2001, Nick was honored with the Outstanding Educator Award for the Northwest Region from the National Catholic Education Association.

Eighth-grade teacher
Kolleen Murray knows All Saints School very well. She is one of our alumna and did her student teaching here in addition to teaching seventh-grade. Kolleen graduated from Washington State University with a B.A. in Business Personnel Management and a Minor in Economics in 1983. It wasn't until several years later that she discovered her true calling and returned to Gonzaga University to receive her Post Baccalaureate Teaching Certification in 1999. "I realized that I wanted to serve children. Faith education is very important to me." In 2012, Kolleen was honored with the Distinguished Educator Award for the Northwest region from the National Catholic Education Association.

Sheri Rasmussen has taught at All Saints since 1998. She graduated from EWU with a BA in education. Sheri wants her students to learn that attaining skills and learning healthy wellness activities is fun.

Casey Tuckerman hits the right notes with students at staff at All Saints as the music teacher for grades K - 8. After being a teacher and principal in Helena, Montana, Mr. Tuckerman moved to Spokane and the classroom. "I really missed working with the kids and watching their appreciation for music grow," said Mr. Tuckerman. But the classroom's not the only place you find Mr. Tuckerman. He also puts on the school's yearly Christmas Pageant provides music for the weekly Masses and takes his students on the road to sing at various locations including Sacred Heart Hospital.

Monica Eugenio has worn many different hats at All Saints. She's been a parent, substitute teacher and a student! Monica is currently working with our students at the primary building as the Reading Recovery teacher. She has a bachelor's degree in education with an emphasis in English. Monica is always encouraging her students to do their best and find the "silver lining" even in difficult tasks. Monica said she became a teacher because "I want my students to know that when life becomes rough, they have a wonderful friend in God. He is always there."

Meg Cronin. As the primary building's office secretary, she handles not only the phones, but runs the SCRIP program and handles the needs of our younger students. Mrs. Cronin also deals with attendance and keeping hot lunch count. Mrs. Cronin is also an alumni parent of All Saints.

Carolyn Fischer is our middle building secretary. We rely on her for everything from our preschool pick-up to our eighth grade graduation.

Janet Dixon. In addition to raising funds for the school, she also is raising two All Saints students.
