Xanthe Kraft joined the All Saints faculty in the Fall of 2019 as the Music & Choir teacher at the Middle Building. Born and raised in Spokane, Xanthe graduated from Saint Thomas More and Gonzaga Prep. Following graduation, she traveled to the east coast for her undergraduate education at Dartmouth College where she studied Computer Science, Philosophy and Digital Arts.  Xanthe worked at Yahoo! before returning to Dartmouth for graduate study in Music and Philosophy.  After graduate studies, she returned to Spokane to serve His people by “breaking the alabaster jar of my knowledge on the feet of my students.”  Xanthe feels that “teaching is one of the most important jobs in the entire world: forming the next generation of Christ-seeking Catholics, out to be saints!”

Xanthe was drawn to teaching when leading a Christian acappella group in college.  She loved helping people improve their voice beyond what they perceived possible and the joy they exude being able to unite it with others and praise God.  “If I could reach a few students and encourage them to appreciate their bodies – instruments made by God – using them to have fun, praise Him and bask in His created beauty, then what more important work is there for me?”
