5th Grade

Elizabeth Schultheis attended Whitman College, in Walla Walla, and majored in Psychology. After graduation, she enrolled at Gonzaga University where she received her teaching certificate and went on to complete her Master’s Degree in 1995.  Elizabeth began teaching at All Saints in 1991 where she taught 2nd grade for 12 years, then 4th grade for 4 years.  After 16 years at All Saints, she made the decision to stay home to raise her sons, John and Joseph.  Elizabeth first returned to the All Saints community as a beloved substitute teacher, Middle building Art teacher and Technology teacher.

Elizabeth said she chose to teach at All Saints and to enroll her sons at All Saints because “I wanted to be a part of a school that LIVES its faith.”  All Saints has rigorous academic standards, takes an active role in forming the spiritual lives of the students, and has an incredibly supportive community of teachers, staff, pastors, parents, and students. According to Elizabeth, “We all work together as a family to educate the children in all aspects of their lives — academic, spiritual, emotional, physical, and social.”

Elizabeth was excited to return to the classroom full-time in 2019 as our 5th Grade teacher.  The students are so able and willing to work hard, to learn as much as they can, and to experience everything they can.  “My main goal for them is to help create strong relationships with each other and with God. I want them to experience kindness, support, playfulness, and positive attitudes in a safe, loving, accepting, and challenging classroom.”
